Technical Sales Sr. Engineer- B2

Purpose of Role
Develop new B2B business for high-purity fluoropolymer components, particularly PFA/PTFE products for :-
semiconductor, electronics and pure fluid-handling applications.
Medical & Life Sciences
Solar and Energy.
Defence and Aerospace
The person will identify target customers and applications, develop technical relationships, generate opportunities/RFQs, coordinate product development and customer qualification, and convert opportunities into commercial business.

Ideal Candidate
B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Polymer, Plastics or related engineering discipline.
MBA in Sales and Marketing preferred not compulsory.
5 to 8 years of technical B2B sales/business development experience.
Experience in semiconductor, electronics, fluoropolymers, engineering plastics, pumps/valves, high-purity fluid handling or process equipment preferred.
Strong technical communication and customer-facing capability.
Demonstrated experience in current customer acquisition, not only account management.
Willingness to travel extensively for customer development.

Market Development

Identify semiconductor/electronics/pure application opportunities and build a target customer pipeline. In addition also the other 4 Industries mentioned above. Attending exhibitions and also participations in seminars.
Customer Development

Convert enquiries into product development, trials, qualification and approved vendor status. Maintaining high levels of communication with Customers.
Business Conversion

Convert qualified prospects into repeat commercial orders and build the B2 revenue pipeline. Work on targets and ensure that steady flow of business is maintained.
