A Storekeeper in real estate is responsible for managing inventory and materials at construction sites. Key responsibilities include:
Receiving and inspecting materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
Maintaining accurate records of all material receipts, issues, and stock balances.
Issuing materials to site engineers, supervisors, and contractors as per project requirements.
Conducting periodic physical stock verification and reconciling inventory records.
Monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
This role requires solid inventory management skills and experience in construction or real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect goods: Verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.
Record inventory transactions: Maintain accurate logs of stock movements using inventory management systems.
Store and organize items: Label, shelve, and arrange goods for easy retrieval and safety compliance.
Monitor stock levels: Reorder supplies when needed and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Conduct stock counts: Perform regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Issue materials: Pick, pack,



and prepare items for dispatch or internal use.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics: Ensure timely deliveries and manage returns of damaged goods.
Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness: Follow safety regulations and keep the environment hazard‑free.
Support business operations: Assist with promotional planning, staff coordination, and general warehouse tasks.

Essential SkillsTechnical Skills
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of warehouse operations, stock rotation (e.g., FIFO), and logistics workflows.
Ability to conduct audits, cycle counts, and manage digital inventory records.
