Role & responsibilities
Develop and execute validation plans, test procedures, and qualification reports.
Perform functional, performance, environmental, and reliability testing of power electronic assemblies.
Test and characterize SMPS, DC-DC converters, AC-DC power supplies, battery chargers, and inverter systems.
Conduct efficiency, thermal, load regulation, line regulation, and transient response testing.
Perform EMI/EMC pre-compliance and qualification testing.
Analyze switching waveforms, power losses, and thermal behavior using advanced test equipment.
Investigate failures, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
Develop automated test setups using LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, or similar platforms.
Generate detailed test reports and support design verification (DVT), product validation (PVT), and qualification activities.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, PCB design, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Preferred candidate profile
Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Power Electronics.
Experience: 3 to 6 years in power electronics testing, validation, or reliability engineering.
Domain: Direct experience in defense electronics, aerospace power systems, industrial power supplies, EV systems, or high-reliability electronics.
