Role Description The UK - Rebar Detailer - Chennai is a full time, in office role based at our Chennai office. This role involves preparing detailed reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules for UK-based projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural and structural drawings, coordinating with project engineers, and producing accurate shop drawings for steel structures and RCC elements.

The detailer will review and update drawings based on design changes or site feedback, maintain documentation,



and support quality checks to ensure consistency and precision. Collaboration with internal teams and timely delivery of detailing outputs are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications
Ability to produce and interpret Shop Drawings and detailed construction documentation.
Strong skills in Steel Detailing and working with Steel Structures for building and infrastructure projects.
Hands-on experience with Rebar detailing and reinforcement layouts for RCC elements.
Competence in reading and understanding Architectural Drawings and structural plans.
Proficiency in relevant CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, RebarCAD, Tekla Structures or equivalent).
Knowledge of UK standards and codes for reinforcement detailing is highly desirable.
Diploma or degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
Prior experience in a rebar detailing or structural detailing role for international projects is an advantage.
