Role & responsibilities
Supervise and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory, and returns across all three units at Sholavaram.
Lead a team of supervisors, operators, and contractual staff, ensuring optimal manpower utilization.
Ensure 100% adherence to client SLAs, TAT, and operational KPIs.
Monitor material movement, binning, and put-away in coordination with the inventory team.
Implement and maintain 7S and housekeeping standards across the warehouse.
Coordinate with transport, planning, and customer service teams for dispatch and delivery schedules.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of GRN, delivery challans, gate passes, and other operational records.
Support system-based operations using EDMS and ensure real-time transaction updates.
Handle internal, external, and client audits and ensure compliance with SOPs and statutory requirements.
Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving prospects.
Train and develop team members on warehouse SOPs, safety, Kaizen, and quality standards.
