Role & responsibilities
Assess patients' physical condition, vital signs, symptoms, and nursing care needs.
Provide direct nursing care to patients as prescribed by the treating physician and nursing care plan.
Monitor and record temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, pain score, and other relevant observations.
Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments in accordance with authorized orders and hospital protocols.
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, treatments, and emergency interventions.
Identify and promptly report changes in a patient's condition to the treating physician and nursing supervisor.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, where applicable.
Support patient admission, transfer, discharge, and referral procedures.
Ensure timely escalation of critical conditions and participate in emergency response activities within the scope of competence.
