About the Role

We are looking for a fresher / junior Electrical CAD Designer with positive knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical drawings to join our design and project support team.

The candidate will work on Home Automation, Home Theatre and Audio-Visual (AV) projects, supporting the engineering and project teams with electrical CAD drawings, BOM preparation, quotations and design coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, cable schedules and related technical drawings.
Understand electrical symbols, circuits, wiring and basic electrical design concepts.
Support design requirements for Home Automation, Home Theatre and AV projects.
Prepare and update Bill of Materials (BOM) based on project requirements.
Assist in preparing quotations and material requirements.
Coordinate with the Engineering, Project, Procurement and Business Development teams regarding drawings and technical requirements.
Understand client/project requirements and incorporate necessary changes into drawings.
Coordinate internally to clarify design requirements, revisions and project specifications.
Maintain proper documentation of drawings,



BOMs and project-related technical information.
Support the team in preparing drawings and documentation required for project execution.
Make revisions to drawings based on site requirements and feedback from internal teams.
Ensure drawings are accurate and follow company standards.

Required Skills
Robust working knowledge of AutoCAD Mandatory
Valid AutoCAD certification Mandatory
Basic knowledge of Electrical Design / Electrical Drawings
Understanding of electrical symbols, wiring and circuit diagrams.
Good knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
Positive attention to detail and documentation skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into drawings.
Willingness to learn Home Automation, Home Theatre and AV technologies.

Preferred Candidate
Freshers are welcome.
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical / EEE / Electrical & Electronics preferred.
Candidates with AutoCAD certification and electrical CAD training will be preferred.
Candidates with knowledge of Home Automation / Smart Home / Home Theatre / AV / ELV will have an added advantage.
Immediate joiners preferred.
