Lead end-to-end tractor platform development from concept to production.
Drive product design, development, prototype, testing and validation activities.
Lead development of major tractor systems including Engine, Transmission, Hydraulic, PTO, 3-Point Linkage, Steering, Brakes and Electrical systems.
Coordinate with Design, Testing, Homologation, Quality, Manufacturing, SCM and Suppliers for project execution.
Review design concepts, drawings, BOMs, specifications and engineering changes.
Ensure tractor performance, reliability, durability and regulatory requirements are achieved.
Drive prototype builds, field trials, testing and validation and resolve technical issues.
Conduct DFMEA, design reviews, RCA, VA/VE and cost-reduction activities.
Benchmark competitor tractors and identify prospects for product improvement and innovation.
Track project milestones, technical risks and ensure timely completion of development activities.
Lead and mentor the R&D; design/development team and provide technical guidance.
Prepare regular project status and technical reports for senior management.
