We’re looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our team in Chennai.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer with robust knowledge of both Software and Firmware testing to perform end-to-end testing of our products. The candidate should be comfortable working across application, embedded/firmware, hardware, and integration layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end manual testing covering both software and firmware components.
• Understand product requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Test firmware features, updates, configurations, and device behaviour.
• Validate communication and integration between firmware, hardware, and software applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting logs.
• Perform API, database, and UI validation wherever applicable.
• Execute firmware upgrade/downgrade and compatibility testing.
• Work closely with developers, firmware engineers,



product teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a QA perspective.
• Maintain test execution reports and provide regular status updates.
• Support release validation and production readiness activities.
• Ensure adequate test coverage across different product versions, configurations, and settings.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in manual QA/Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Software and Firmware testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and QA processes.
• Experience in functional, integration, system, regression, and E2E testing.
• Positive understanding of embedded/firmware testing concepts.
• Experience testing device-to-software/application integrations.
• Good knowledge of API testing and basic database/SQL validation.
