About the Role

We are looking for a skilled SolidWorks Design Engineer with 35 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and a robust command of SolidWorks.

Key Responsibilities
Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
Design Jigs, Fixtures, Machine Components, and Mechanical Assemblies.
Prepare accurate drawings with GD&T;, dimensions, tolerances, and BOMs.
Understand manufacturing processes and design components suitable for machining and fabrication.
Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
Modify and improve existing designs based on customer or production requirements.
Review designs for functionality, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Skills
Solid hands-on knowledge of SolidWorks is mandatory.




Good understanding of mechanical design principles.
Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Knowledge of GD&T; and tolerancing.
Valuable problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

36 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in:
Jigs & Fixtures
Automation
Tool & Die
Machine Design
Precision Engineering
Manufacturing

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
