• Strategic Procurement and Sourcing Prepare and execute procurement plans aligned with production schedules, project timelines, sales commitments and business priorities. Develop category-wise sourcing strategy for polymer raw materials, additives, fittings, steel/stainless-steel items, boughtouts, fabrication inputs, packing materials, plant spares, consumables and project-specific materials. Identify, evaluate and develop reliable domestic and international vendors suitable for Sangirs technical, commercial and quality expectations. Create alternate sourcing options to reduce single-vendor dependency and material availability risk. Support make-versus-buy, import-versus-local and rate-contract decisions based on cost, lead time, quality and business continuity.
• Purchase Operations and Order Management Convert approved purchase requisitions into timely RFQs, comparative statements, negotiation notes and purchase orders. Ensure procurement is completed within defined approval matrix, budget control and internal purchase process. Track order acknowledgement, manufacturing status,



inspection readiness, dispatch plan and delivery closure. Coordinate with Stores for GRN, short supply, excess supply, rejection, replacement and material reconciliation. Maintain purchase registers, PO tracker, open PR/PO report, pending delivery report and vendor commitment tracker.
• Technical and Quality Coordination Understand material specifications, grades, dimensions, pressure ratings, drawings, test certificates and product-specific technical requirements. Coordinate with QA/QC and user departments for technical approval, sample approval, inspection plan, test reports, CoA / CoC and rejection handling. Ensure technical deviations are not accepted without written approval from the competent technical authority. Support procurement for HDPE, PP, PPH, PVDF, CPVC, industrial sheets, liners, fabricated thermoplastic components, roto-moulded items and project-related systems.
