Job Description – Area Sales Executive – GT Designation: Area Sales Executive – General Trade (GT)
HQ: Pune
Location: West Pune
Territory: Baner, Aundh, Pashan, Wakad, Balewadi, Bavdhan, Sus & nearby West Pune markets
Channel: General Trade / Wholesale Industry Requirement Only candidates from the following industries will be considered: Food Personal Care OTC / Consumer Healthcare Candidates from other industries will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow GT/Wholesale business across assigned West Pune territory. Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets. Manage distributors, wholesalers and key trade partners. Drive primary and secondary sales. Develop new customers and expand market coverage. Conduct regular market visits and ensure effective beat planning. Ensure product availability, visibility and distribution. Implement company schemes, promotions and trade activities. Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends. Maintain robust relationships with distributors and wholesale partners. Ensure timely collection and payment follow-up.



Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and market updates. Coordinate with distributors and internal teams for stock and order fulfilment. Candidate Profile Relevant experience in General Trade / Wholesale Sales. Experience specifically from Food & Beverage, Personal Care or OTC/Consumer Healthcare companies. Good knowledge of West Pune GT/Wholesale market. Solid distributor and wholesaler network will be preferred. Valuable communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills. Target-oriented with strong field-sales capability. Comfortable with extensive market travel.
