Job Summary
Caltest Instruments , a company of Pacific Power is seeking a agile and customer-focused Service Engineer – Application Support to provide technical service, installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and application support for our range of Programmable Power testing, and measurement instruments. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, sales teams, and OEM partners to ensure high equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Technical Support
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and application-related customer issues.
• Repair the equipment as per Caltest standards as per company turn around time policy.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, verification, and repair activities of power electronics equipment.
• Maintain service records, calibration reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Installation, commissioning,



and configuration of testing and measurement instruments at customer sites.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.

Application Support
• Conduct product demonstrations and application trials for customers.
• Understand customer testing requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Assist customers in method development, test setup.
• Train end users on instrument operation, maintenance, and best practices.
• Support sales teams during technical discussions, evaluations, and customer presentations.

Customer Engagement
• Respond promptly to service requests and technical inquiries.
• Build robust relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction.
• Coordinate with OEMs and internal teams for issue resolution and technical escalation.
• Ensure compliance with service quality standards and safety procedures.

Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare service reports, documentation and CRM tools update.
