Description
Supervise drilling, blasting, excavation, loading, hauling, and dumping operations.
Ensure secure operation of heavy earth-moving machinery (HEMM) such as shovels, excavators, dumpers, dozers, graders, and drills.
Inspect working faces, haul roads, benches, dump yards, and mine equipment regularly.
Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, and violations of safety regulations.
Monitor deployment and productivity of machines and manpower.
Maintain production records, shift reports, and operational logs.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers before commencement of work.
Ensure compliance with provisions of the Mines Act, Metalliferous Mines Regulations, and DGMS guidelines.
