Role Definition:
Designs, develops, builds, and implements recent components, products, or technologies.

Responsibilities
• Creating new component level designs and resolves issues regarding the manufacturing or product operation. Ensuring design acceptance, manufacturing readiness, and validation.
• Participating in the adoption of recent technologies and process improvements to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Support definition of engineering procedures to make the product or process more reliable,



efficient and cost-effective. Understanding functional requirements and translating into detail design documents.
• Collaborating with all functional areas to provide a design solution that meets the requirements of the enterprise partners and customers.
• Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.

Education requirements:
• B.E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited engineering college with 3+ years of product development experience
• M.E. / M. Tech in Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited engineering college with 2+ years of product development experience

Mandatory requirements are:
• Solid in first principle thinking
• Clarity of thought and good communication skills – should be able to explain & present his/her ideas
• Experienced/conversant with fundamentals of structural design concepts: Stress/Strain,
