Job Summary

We are looking for a Sales Executive with experience in NVOCC/container shipping sales. The candidate will be responsible for generating recent business, maintaining existing customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and promoting the company's NVOCC services.

Key Responsibilities
Generate recent business opportunities in export/import container trade.
Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, CHAs, shippers and consignees.
Promote NVOCC services and generate regular bookings.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
Prepare freight quotations and commercial proposals for customers.
Follow up with leads, quotations and customers to convert enquiries into bookings.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business.
Coordinate with operations, documentation and pricing teams for smooth shipment execution.
Monitor market rates, competitors, trade lanes and customer requirements.
Develop new customers and expand the company's business network.
Attend client meetings, trade events and industry meetings when required.




Coordinate with the accounts team for timely payment collection.
Prepare regular sales reports and update management on business development activities.

Candidate Requirements
Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Shipping, Logistics or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in NVOCC or container shipping sales is mandatory.
Valuable knowledge of shipping, freight forwarding, trade lanes and container business.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Positive customer relationship and business development skills.
Knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.
Ability to achieve sales targets and work independently.
Existing contacts/network among freight forwarders and logistics companies will be an advantage.
