Sets up and operates conventional (non-CNC) cylindrical grinding machines to shape, grind, and finish internal (ID) and external (OD) cylindrical metal parts to exact tolerances.
Core Responsibilities Setup: Mount and dress grinding wheels; align workpieces between centers or in chucks using dial indicators.
Operation: Manually control feed rates, wheel speeds, and depth of cut for OD, ID, taper, and shoulder grinding. Inspection: Measure
workpieces continuously using micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers to hold tight tolerances (pm 0.0001text{ inches}).
Maintenance: Lubricate machine ways, clean coolant sumps, and perform ring-tests on wheels for safety.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
