Key Responsibilities
The role primarily involves Structured Text (IEC 61131-3) programming along with C# application development, database management, and Agile-based software development.
The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial automation, embedded control systems, and up-to-date software engineering practices.
Develop, enhance, and maintain advance Genset control system using Structured Text (IEC 61131-3).
Design and develop supporting applications and tools using C# (.NET).
Work with cross-functional teams to implement new features and resolve software issues.
Design, optimize, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, and software validation.
Collaborate using Git with branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Support software integration, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required:
B.E./B.



Tech/M.E./MTech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline or MCA / MCS etc.
Strong experience in Structured Text (IEC 61131-3) programming.
Experience in C#/.NET application development.
Solid knowledge of Relational Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL.
Experience with NoSQL Databases: DynamoDB, Influx-DB.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in distributed or global development teams.
Good to Have
Experience in Generator Control Systems, Industrial Automation, PLCs, etc
Valuable understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, J1939, or Ethernet/IP.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is an added advantage.
