Role Description The Sr. Human Resources Consultant is a full time, in office role based in Chennai,



responsible for leading and executing a broad range of HR initiatives that support BGI's growth and people strategy. This role oversees HR management activities including workforce planning, performance management, and HR policy development aligned with organizational goals. The consultant manages complex employee relations cases, advises leadership on HR best practices, and ensures consistent application of policies and procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and updating HR policies, advising on labor and employment law compliance, supporting talent acquisition and onboarding, and coaching managers on effective people management. The role also involves collaborating with senior leadership on organizational development, employee engagement programs, and continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with proven experience in senior HR advisory or consulting
