JOB DESCRIPTION – JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to support our Accounts & Finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and handling day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Prepare and record sales and purchase invoices.
Handle billing, receipts, payments, and expense entries.
Maintain and update accounts payable and receivable records.
Perform bank reconciliation and assist in maintaining bank records.
Manage Tally Prime entries and basic accounting operations.
Prepare and maintain Excel reports related to accounts and daily transactions.
Assist in GST-related documentation and filing.
Verify bills, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
Maintain proper records of debit/credit notes and outstanding payments.
Assist the senior accountant in monthly closing and financial reporting.




Coordinate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment-related matters.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the management.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of Tally Prime.
Working knowledge of MS Excel.
Basic understanding of GST, invoicing, and taxation.
Knowledge of bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Candidate
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Candidates with experience in Tally Prime, GST, billing, and Excel will be preferred.
Should be sincere, organized, and willing to learn.

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
