Perform initial assessment and triage of patients according to urgency.
Monitor vital signs, neurological status, pain, and other clinical parameters.
Provide immediate nursing care to critically ill and injured patients.
Assist doctors during resuscitation, CPR, intubation, suturing, and other emergency procedures.
Prepare and administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed.
Establish and maintain IV access and collect blood/specimen samples.
Monitor patients during and after emergency treatment.
Recognize deterioration and promptly escalate to the physician/emergency team.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and nursing records.
Ensure emergency equipment, crash carts, medications, and supplies are available and functional.
Follow infection-control, medication-safety, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
Provide appropriate patient and family education and emotional support.
Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, ICU, OT, inpatient units, and other departments.
Assist with secure transfer/admission/discharge of patients.
Maintain confidentiality and qualified standards.
