Designation: Turner – Hydraulic Equipment Manufacturing & Repair

Reporting To: Production Supervisor / Workshop Manager
Job Purpose

To carry out turning, machining, finishing, and repair work on components used in high- and low-pressure hydraulic equipment, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, bolting tools, and related industrial equipment, as per engineering drawings and specified tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
Operate conventional lathe machines and CNC turning machines, wherever applicable.
Perform turning, facing, boring, threading, grooving, drilling, and other machining operations.
Manufacture and repair hydraulic equipment components such as bushes, pistons, glands, adapters, couplings, and threaded fittings.
Carry out machining and refurbishment of components used in hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, hydraulic torque wrenches, and bolting systems.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and job specifications.
Inspect machined components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and component quality as per specified requirements.




Maintain machines, tools, and the workplace in positive working condition.
Follow safety procedures, machine operating instructions, and housekeeping requirements.
Coordinate with the production, quality, design, and maintenance departments to ensure timely completion of jobs.
Maintain job cards, machining records, and production-related documentation as required.
Qualifications and Experience
ITI in Turner trade or Machinist trade.
Experience in conventional lathe operations and precision machining.
Experience in hydraulic equipment manufacturing or repair is preferred.
Knowledge of engineering drawings, fits, tolerances, and measuring instruments.
CNC turning experience is desirable where applicable.
Skills Required
Precision machining and measurement.

Secure machine operation and teamwork.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
