Business Development Manager – Interior Design

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and target-oriented Business Development Manager to join our interior design team in Thiruvananthapuram.

The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in interior sales, construction sales, or construction material sales and have solid communication and client-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities
Generate new leads and identify potential customers for interior design projects.
Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Meet clients to understand their requirements, budget, and project expectations.
Conduct site visits and coordinate with clients regarding project requirements.
Present the company's interior design services and solutions to potential customers.
Follow up regularly with leads, enquiries, quotations, and proposals.
Convert qualified leads into confirmed interior projects.
Coordinate with the design and project teams to ensure smooth communication with clients.
Negotiate with clients and assist in closing deals.
Develop business through referrals, networking, local contacts, and other sales channels.




Achieve monthly and quarterly business development targets.
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, meetings, and sales conversions.
Stay updated on local market trends and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in any of the following:
Interior sales
Construction sales
Construction material sales
Good knowledge of the interior/construction industry.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
Valuable negotiation and convincing abilities.
Customer-oriented and target-driven approach.
Ability to generate leads and convert them into sales.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits within Thiruvananthapuram.
A valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.

Preferred Skills
Existing contacts with homeowners, builders, architects, contractors, or property developers will be an advantage.
Knowledge of interior products, materials, and construction processes.
Good understanding of the Thiruvananthapuram market.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
