Sr. Chemist

Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry or relevant qualification

Job Responsibilities
Conduct chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, finished products and in-process samples.
Perform routine QC testing as per approved specifications and SOPs.
Handle laboratory instruments and maintain proper testing records.
Conduct testing related to fertilizer/bio-fertilizer products and raw materials.
Monitor and maintain laboratory standards, SOPs and GLP requirements.
Ensure accurate sampling, testing, documentation and reporting.
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and support root-cause analysis.
Coordinate with Production, QA and other departments regarding quality issues.
Maintain calibration and proper functioning of laboratory instruments.
Prepare and maintain COA, test reports,



laboratory registers and other QC documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable quality and safety procedures.
Support development/improvement of testing methods and laboratory practices.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of chemical analysis and QC testing.
Good knowledge of laboratory instruments.
Knowledge of raw material and finished-product testing.
Understanding of SOP, GLP, OOS and CAPA.
Positive documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to coordinate with Production and QA teams.
Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
