Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing mechanical components and SPM machine assemblies.
Prepare and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
Support machine concept development and mechanical detailing.
Prepare BOM, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings.
Coordinate with fabrication, machining, electrical, and automation teams.
Assist in machine assembly, alignment, testing, and trial runs.
Visit customer sites for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting when required.
Identify and resolve basic mechanical issues during machine trials.
Support selection of mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, cylinders, guideways, gearboxes, motors, and fasteners.
Coordinate with vendors for fabrication and purchased components.
Maintain engineering documents and project records.
