Job Title: Assistant Professor – Mechanical Engineering (Design Specialization)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Assistant Professor to join the Mechanical Engineering Department with a specialization in Design. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting research, and contributing to departmental and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in mechanical design and related subjects.
Develop and update course materials, including lectures, labs, and assessments.
Guide and mentor students in academic projects, research, and career development.
Conduct original research in mechanical design or related areas and publish in reputed journals and conferences.
Collaborate with industry and academic partners for research and development activities.
Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and accreditation activities.
Contribute to institutional service such as student counseling, committee work, and outreach.

Qualifications:
A Master’s degree (M.Tech or Ph.D.



in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field with specialization in Design.
Solid academic record and proven teaching ability at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
Demonstrated research aptitude with publications in reputed journals/conferences is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Skills:
Expertise in CAD/CAM, CAE tools, product design, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, or equivalent.
Knowledge of industry standards and emerging trends in mechanical design.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
