Overview
Prepare and monitor daily and weekly production plans.
Coordinate production activities across different manufacturing sections.
Allocate jobs and work instructions to production teams.
Monitor production progress against planned schedules.
Coordinate with Engineering, Stores, Purchase, Quality and Maintenance departments.
Ensure required raw materials and components are available for production.
Track material consumption and report shortages or delays.
Monitor work orders and ensure timely completion.
Identify production delays, bottlenecks and process issues and report them to management.
Ensure production activities follow approved drawings, specifications and work instructions.
Coordinate with the Quality team to resolve production-related quality issues.
Maintain daily production reports, job status and output records.
Monitor manpower utilization and production efficiency.
Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with safety procedures.
Prepare daily/weekly production status reports for management.

Required Skills
Good knowledge of production planning and control.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.




Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Valuable coordination and communication skills.
Ability to track multiple production orders simultaneously.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
Problem-solving and follow-up skills.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of transformer manufacturing or electrical/mechanical fabrication will be an advantage.

Qualification

B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in production, production planning, production coordination or manufacturing operations preferred.

Freshers with robust technical knowledge and positive communication/coordination skills may also be considered.
