About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Safety & Environment Officer to ensure the effective implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards at our 220kV S/C Semtokha–Jamjee Transmission Line Project in Thimphu, Bhutan.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, monitoring compliance with applicable safety requirements, and ensuring that safe work practices are followed, particularly during transmission line stringing and associated construction activities.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor the project's Health, Safety & Workplace (HSE) policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, project requirements, and site safety procedures.
Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
Monitor safety practices during stringing,



erection, tower-related, lifting, working-at-height, and other transmission line activities
Conduct Toolbox Talks, safety briefings, and awareness sessions for workers and site personnel.
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the project site.
Prepare and maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, checklists, and incident records.
Identify workplace hazards and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
Support risk assessments and implementation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and secure work procedures.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences and prepare reports.
Monitor emergency preparedness and ensure emergency response procedures are communicated to site personnel.
Coordinate with the Project Head, site team, contractors, and workers regarding HSE matters.
