Job Description Job Title: Accountant
Work Location: Malabar Hill, Mumbai Please consider commuting time
Work schedule: Full Time, Tuesday-Saturday, adaptable schedule.
Salary: Rs 30,000/month
Role Overview: Primary responsibility for all accounting activities, including day-to-day functioning, of a private school.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee student billing, collect tuition fees, issue receipts, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
Maintaining books of accounts in Tally Prime.
Preparing and maintaining records of invoices.
Recording all transactions and preparing accounts payable, accounts receivable and journal vouchers.
Handling petty cash, processing checks and e-payments of TDS, Provident Fund and Profession Tax.
Payroll processing, including computation of income tax on salary for staff.
