About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET I) to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for both UI and backend functionality using WebDriver, TestNG, Rest-Assured, and Cucumber. You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and fellow QA team members to ensure our products consistently meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Framework Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks from scratch for web, mobile, and API layers using Java.

• Frontend Automation: Develop and execute high-coverage UI test automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright across multiple web applications, platforms, and browser engines.

• Backend & API Automation: Create automated test suites using RestAssured and Postman to validate RESTful APIs, microservices, business logic, payload structures, and response performance.

• Mobile Test Automation:



Implement automated test suites for iOS and Android native and hybrid applications using Appium.

• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated frontend, backend, and mobile test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable rapid feedback and daily execution.

• Test Strategy & Design: Author comprehensive, maintainable test plans, test cases, and test data strategies covering functional, non-functional, integration, and regression scenarios.

• Defect Management & Analysis: Perform root-cause analysis on test failures, isolate defects across application layers, and track issues to resolution using defect management systems.

• Agile Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and DevOps teams during sprint planning, grooming, and release cycles to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
