Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced React Native Mobile App Developer with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience to develop, enhance, and maintain Dental Kart’s mobile applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience building and managing production-grade Android and iOS applications using React Native, with particular focus on application performance, scalability, API integrations, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain high-quality React Native applications for Android and iOS.

- Build new features and continuously improve the Dental Kart mobile shopping experience.

- Work closely with Product, UI/UX, Backend, and QA teams to deliver features from concept to production.

- Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.

- Implement key e-commerce journeys including:

- Login & Registration

- Product Search & Discovery

- Product Listing & Product Details

- Wishlist

- Cart & Checkout

- Payments

- Order Tracking

- Returns & Refunds

- Notifications

- Integrate third-party SDKs including payment gateways, analytics, push notifications, attribution and customer engagement tools.

- Optimize application performance, startup time, API handling, rendering, memory usage, and overall responsiveness.

- Identify and resolve crashes, ANRs, performance issues, and production bugs.

- Implement proper state management and scalable application architecture.

- Write reusable, maintainable, and well-structured code.





- Handle application releases and deployment to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

- Monitor production application stability and continuously improve app performance.

- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the mobile codebase.

What We Expect

We are looking for someone who can take end-to-end ownership of the Dental Kart mobile application, not just implement individual screens.

The candidate should be capable of understanding business requirements, proposing the right technical approach, developing scalable features, troubleshooting production issues, optimizing application performance, and independently managing Android and iOS releases.

Experience working on a large e-commerce application with product catalogs, search, cart, checkout, payments and order management will be strongly preferred.

Requirements Performance & Architecture Experience

The candidate should have practical experience with:

- React Native performance optimization

- Reducing unnecessary component re-renders

- Optimizing large product lists and infinite scrolling

- Image loading, caching and optimization

- API caching and network handling

- Offline and poor-network handling

- Deep Linking / Universal Links

- App startup optimization

- Crash and ANR debugging

- Memory leak identification

- Secure local storage





- Scalable folder and component architecture

Required Technical Skills

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on React Native development experience.

- Strong knowledge of React Native, React, Java Script and Type Script.

- Strong understanding of React concepts including:

- Hooks

- Component lifecycle

- Context

- State management

- Navigation

- Reusable component architecture

- Experience with state management tools such as Redux / Redux Toolkit, Zustand or similar.

- Strong experience integrating REST APIs and JSON-based services.

- Experience with authentication flows including tokens, refresh tokens and secure storage.

- Experience with Firebase, including Push Notifications, Crashlytics and Analytics.

- Experience integrating third-party native SDKs and libraries.

- Good understanding of Android and iOS platform-specific behavior.

- Familiarity with Android Studio and Xcode.

- Experience debugging native and React Native application issues.

- Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows.

- Experience publishing and maintaining production applications on the Play Store and App Store.

Good to Have

- Previous experience working on e-commerce or high-traffic consumer applications.

- Experience with payment gateway integrations.

- Experience with Firebase, Clever Tap, MoEngage, Apps Flyer or similar platforms.

- Knowledge of native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) development.

- Experience with React Native New Architecture, Hermes, Fabric and Turbo Modules.

- Experience setting up mobile CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of automated testing using Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox or similar tools.
