Own and govern the Cross-Delivery Configuration Management process and the CMDB across Services Suppliers.

Develop, integrate and maintain the Configuration Management process, tools, plans, policies, data models, ownership structures and governance controls, subject to the required approvals.

Ensure that relevant configuration items and assets are controlled and that reliable configuration information, including CI attributes and relationships, is available to Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Transition and other service-management processes.

Define and maintain the Configuration Management Plan and the approved data model for service, infrastructure, application, software, virtual, cloud, organizational and interface CIs.

Establish formal configuration identification, control, status accounting, baseline, verification, audit and reporting practices.

Coordinate information between the central CMDB, supplier CMDBs,



discovery sources and external systems to maintain integrity and approved bi-directional data flows.

Ensure configuration records are updated only through authorized activities and that relevant changes are reflected continuously in the CMDB.

Establish and monitor CMDB health measures covering accuracy, completeness, compliance and relationship integrity.

Define the audit and quality-assurance plan, coordinate physical and logical audits, provide evidence of record accuracy and CI existence, and drive corrective action for discrepancies.

Maintain traceable modification histories, configuration baselines and supporting architecture and design records.

Ensure configuration baselines and required documentation are available before releases or production changes, and coordinate monthly SACM reports and CMDB health reporting.
