Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in New Delhi at one of BR Healthcare Ventures multi-specialty hospitals. The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and hospital policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling patients on proper medication use, dosage, potential side effects, and drug interactions, as well as coordinating with physicians and nursing staff to clarify orders and support safe medication therapy. The role involves maintaining pharmacy inventory, checking expiry dates, managing storage conditions, and participating in regular audits to uphold quality and safety standards. The Pharmacist will also contribute to medication management protocols, support implementation of clinical guidelines,



and assist with documentation and reporting required under Ayushman Bharat – PM-JAY and other relevant schemes.

Qualifications

- Formal education and credentials: Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) from a recognized institution, valid pharmacist registration with the appropriate pharmacy council, and familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations.
- Clinical and technical skills: Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug indications, contraindications, dosage calculations, and drug interactions, along with experience in prescription verification and medication dispensing in an inpatient or multi-specialty setting.
- Regulatory and safety competencies: Understanding of national healthcare regulations, pharmacy laws, and hospital medication policies.
- Patient care and communication skills: Ability to counsel patients and caregivers in clear, respectful language, provide medication education, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Operational and organizational abilities: Proficiency in managing pharmacy inventory, using hospital information systems or pharmacy software, maintaining accurate records, and working efficiently in a high-volume workplace.
- Professional attributes: Strong attention to detail, commitment to ethical practice, willingness to work in rotational shifts if required, and a patient-centric approach aligned with the organization's focus on accessibility and affordability.

- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Hospitals/Healthcare industry.
