Role Description The Senior Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable oversight, and review of journal entries. The role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, supporting statutory and internal audits, ensuring accurate tax computations, and monitoring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with partners and team members to resolve accounting issues, support financial planning, and provide data-driven insights for clients.



This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, requiring close coordination with internal teams and, where needed, direct interaction with clients.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Candidates should possess audit-related skills such as supporting statutory and internal audits, testing controls, and preparing audit schedules and documentation.
- Candidates should possess tax and compliance skills, including basic direct and indirect tax knowledge, TDS/GST workings, and familiarity with regulatory filings.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel) and the ability to work with spreadsheets and financial models.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data for decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with partners, clients, and team members in a professional manner.
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent skilled certification is highly preferred; relevant experience in a CA firm or corporate finance/accounting environment is beneficial.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in Surat, manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and uphold high standards of integrity
