Configuration, administration and support of Microsoft Defender for Office 365 for protection against email threats.
Managing threat protection policies and controls, including anti-spam, anti-phishing, anti-malware, Secure Links, Safe Attachments, and quarantine settings.
Periodic audit of Defender for Office 365 configurations and provision of recommendations to align with security best practices.
Review and handling of quarantined email messages including analysis, validation, and release with approved operational procedures.
Validation and implementation of approved email security exceptions for end users as per client defined exception approval processes.
Support IOC management, including allowing or blocking senders, domains, and URLs, based on SOC requests.
Review and manage email exceptions,



including extension or removal based on the business justifications.
Review service health, mail flow, and threat protection reports, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and performance reports.
Review email detections and coordinate with Microsoft support, including submission, case tracking, and follow-up until resolution, to help improve detection accuracy.
Create, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Knowledge Base (KB) documentation related to email security operations.
Creating support tickets with OEM/product vendor for troubleshooting bugs, platform issues and root-cause analysis.
Initiating and participating in OEM driven activities such as platform upgrades and patching
