Role Overview
The Red Hat Open Shift Administrator will be responsible for designing deploying and managing containerized environments for IBM Maximo Application Suite MAS on Open Shift This role requires strong expertise in Open Shift cluster administration MAS deployment and integration with enterprise systems
Key Responsibilities
Cluster Management
o Install configure and maintain Red Hat Open Shift clusters onprem or cloud
o Manage cluster lifecycle upgrades patching scaling and performance tuning
MAS Deployment Support
o Deploy IBM MAS on Open Shift using Helm charts and operators
o Configure MAS components Manage Monitor Predict and ensure high availability
Security Compliance
o Implement RBAC network policies and container security best practices
o Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards
Monitoring Troubleshooting
o Use tools like Prometheus Grafana and Open Shift Console for health checks
o Troubleshoot MAS pods persistent volumes and integration issues
Automation CICD
o Develop automation scripts for cluster operations and MAS deployments
o Integrate with Jenkins Git Ops pipelines for continuous delivery
Integration
o Support MAS integrations with ERP IoT and external systems
o Manage API gateways and service mesh configurations
