Role: AutoCAD Drafter – TCP & Permit Plans
Location: Remote
Experience: 2–4 Years
Working Hours: Aligned with US Business Hours
Salary: ₹40,000–₹60,000/month (₹5–7.5 LPA)
We are hiring an experienced AutoCAD Drafter to support our US engineering team, with a primary focus on Traffic Control Plans (TCPs), permit plans, and civil/utility drawings.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and revise Traffic Control Plans (TCPs) and permit drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce plan views for roadway, utility, telecom, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare City, County, DOT, ROW, and utility permit plans/packages.
• Incorporate engineering redlines, agency comments, plan-check comments, and as-built markups.
• Prepare base maps, utility plans, exhibits, and engineering revisions.
• Perform drawing QA/QC and maintain client/agency drafting standards.
• Coordinate remotely with US engineers and project managers.
Requirements
• 2–4 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience.
• Experience with TCPs, permit plans, civil/utility drawings, or infrastructure drafting.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, redlines, and technical markups.
• Robust attention to detail and written English communication.
• Prior experience working with US-based engineering/consulting companies strongly preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience with US/California permitting, traffic control plans, DOT/ROW drawings, utilities, OSP/FTTH/FTTx, Civil 3D, ArcGIS/QGIS, as-builts, and agency permit comments will be an advantage.
