The QA/QC Manager directs the project quality management system, establishing audit protocols, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and non-conformance resolution frameworks, with a particular focus on high-durability marine concrete and water-retaining structures.
Key Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) or equivalent quality certification is preferable.
• 10+ years of quality assurance and quality control management experience in complex civil EPC infrastructure, marine intake/outfall structures, or water treatment plants.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Quality Plan (PQP) Governance: Author, update,
and enforce the Project Quality Plan in full compliance with international standards (ISO/ASTM/IS) and client specifications.
• ITP Development & Hold-Point Oversight: Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) across all civil stages, including deep foundations, marine shafts, intake structures, and water-retaining concrete basins.
• Quality Audits & Vendor Surveillance: Plan and execute scheduled and unannounced audits across work fronts, concrete batching plants, testing laboratories, and precast production yards.
• Non-Conformance (NCR) Management: Supervise the issuance, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action (CAPA) tracking, and final sign-off for Non-Conformance Reports.
• Durability & Marine Standards: Enforce strict mix-design criteria for marine-grade, low-permeability concrete exposed to saline environments, verifying cover, crack limits, and specialized waterproofing systems.
