Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

• Build and improve production AI agents
• Design multi-turn conversational workflows
• Build LLM tool/function calling and structured outputs
• Build backend APIs and integrations
• Develop frontend and internal engineering tools
• Design conversation state and context management
• Build retrieval and knowledge systems
• Work with SQL databases, caching, and queues
• Build human handover and escalation workflows
• Create AI evals and automated regression tests
• Build guardrails to prevent hallucinations and unsafe actions
• Improve latency, reliability, and AI inference costs
• Build logging, tracing, and observability for AI decisions
• Handle authentication, authorization, and sensitive customer data securely
• Help architect systems for increasing traffic and conversation volume
