We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented NPD Follow-up / NPD Coordinator to coordinate and follow up on new product development activities from enquiry/design stage through prototype development, trials, production and dispatch.
? Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and follow up on Recent Product Development (NPD) activities from project initiation to production.
• Track project timelines, development status, pending actions and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Purchase, Stores and Dispatch teams for timely completion of NPD activities.
• Follow up for drawings, BOM, raw materials, tooling, fixtures and process requirements.
• Monitor prototype/sample development and ensure timely submission to customers.
• Maintain NPD project trackers, development status reports and action plans.
• Follow up on customer feedback, modifications and engineering changes.




• Coordinate FAI / PPAP / inspection documentation, wherever applicable.
• Ensure timely closure of development-related issues and action points.
• Support ECR/ECO, drawing revisions and process changes.
• Prepare regular management reports on NPD project status, delays and action closures.
• Ensure effective communication between internal departments and customers.

? Desired Candidate Profile
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in NPD coordination/follow-up, preferably in sheet metal, automotive, railway or engineering manufacturing.
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes such as laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, fabrication, surface treatment and assembly.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, BOM, GD&T; and manufacturing processes will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office and ERP/MRP sy
