ROLE OVERVIEW
The Bid & Estimation Executive is a high-impact, HQ-based role at the intersection of pre-sales, technical estimation, and commercial profitability. You will own the end-to-end process of reviewing client requirements, preparing accurate BOQs and costing sheets, and delivering competitive, technically viable, client-ready quotations and bids for smart locker projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Bid & Estimation Ownership
• Review client RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents to determine proposal feasibility and scope
• Analyse layouts, architectural drawings, AutoCAD files, and client specifications to prepare accurate BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and BOMs (Bill of Materials)
• Compute material and component requirements — locker bodies (CRCA / laminate / hybrid), doors, locks, card readers, controllers, electronics, software licences, and accessories
• Build item-wise rate analysis covering material,
factory processing, overheads, packing, freight, and installation costs
• Manage bid submissions for corporate RFPs and government tenders — verify compliance, calculate minimum profitable margins, and meet submission deadlines
• Prepare detailed, client-ready quotations — professionally formatted, clearly worded, and aligned with the company's commercial terms
• Maintain and update a repository of estimation templates, rate cards, and BOQ formats
Client Presentation & Engagement
• Present quotations and proposed solutions to clients through meetings at HQ and virtual presentations
• Coordinate pre-presentation site assessments with the Sales and Projects teams where required to validate estimation assumptions
• Represent Fonzel with professionalism and confidence in discussions with procurement heads, facility managers, and senior stakeholders
