Role Description The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations at Merlis Hotels Coimbatore, ensuring efficient service and a positive guest experience. This full-time on-site role includes managing bar staff, coordinating schedules, supervising beverage preparation, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards. The Bar Manager will oversee inventory and stock levels, monitor costs, and support sales initiatives, including promotions and upselling. The role also involves training team members, handling guest feedback,



ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations, and working closely with the food & beverage and front-of-house teams to deliver consistent service.
Qualifications
• Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem resolution.
• Solid Food & Beverage experience, including bar operations, beverage menus, and quality standards.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with staff, management, and guests.
• Experience in Training bar staff on service procedures, product knowledge, and safety practices.
• Sales skills, including upselling, promoting specials, and supporting revenue targets.
• Previous experience in bar management or supervisory roles in hospitality is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control, cash handling, and basic reporting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
