Role Description The Resident Engineer role is a contract, in office position based in Patna. The Resident Engineer will oversee day-to-day technical activities at the project site, including monitoring construction and installation work, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and coordinating with contractors and project stakeholders.
This role involves conducting inspections, preparing technical reports, supporting troubleshooting and maintenance activities, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Resident Engineer will also assist in implementing engineering solutions recommended by NTCPWC, provide technical input during project meetings, and support data collection and documentation for applied research and technology transfer.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in civil, mechanical, or maritime engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to port, waterway, and coastal projects.
• Experience in site supervision, construction monitoring, and quality assurance for infrastructure or marine-related projects.
• Proficiency in technical documentation, including preparation of reports, drawings review, and compliance checklists.
