About Alanar
Alanar Alternative Investment Management Private Limited is the Investment Manager of Alanar One Health Fund, a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund investing across pharmaceutical engineering, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and allied infrastructure businesses.
We are looking for a Chartered Accountant who wants substantial responsibility early in their career and is interested in developing beyond a conventional accounting role.
The Role
The candidate will take responsibility for the accounting and finance of the Investment Manager and support the finance and operations of the Fund.
This is a hands-on role in a small investment team.
You will work closely with the Fund Manager and gain direct exposure to how an Alternative Investment Fund operates, while building robust foundations in accounting, financial control and fund operations.
As you demonstrate capability and ownership, the scope can progressively expand into investment transactions, fund control, portfolio-company finance and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Manager
• Maintain books of accounts and manage day-to-day accounting, payments and reconciliations.
• Manage taxation, statutory payments and related compliance requirements.
• Monitor cash flows, expenditure and financial commitments and prepare relevant MIS and management information.
• Manage periodic closing, financial statements, audit requirements and coordination with auditors, tax advisers and bankers.
• Maintain appropriate financial controls, documentation and accounting processes.
Fund
• Review Fund accounting, NAV workings,
