About Nature Morte
Nature Morte is one of India’s most internationally recognized contemporary art galleries, with a 25-year history of placing Indian artists at leading global institutions, including Tate Modern, the Guggenheim, and the Centre Pompidou. Alongside the gallery, Nature Morte operates the Saat Saath Arts Foundation, home to India’s first international sculpture park, and SSA Advisory, its institutional art advisory practice. The organization is currently in an active phase of international expansion, with recent locations and programes being developed globally.

Role purpose
Oversee financial operations, working capital, reporting, and commercial compliance, supporting accurate financial control and healthy cash flow across domestic and international business.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage domestic and international accounts receivable, collections, and client follow-ups.
• Monitor receivables aging, resolve payment disputes, and reduce overdue balances, with focused attention on high-value accounts.




• Oversee accurate and timely customer invoicing, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition and trading operations.
• Maintain accurate stock records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure accounting records and entries are accurate and up to date in ERP software (Zoho books).
• Oversee import and export documentation, shipment tracking, and timely customs clearance.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, logistics partners, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, Bills of Lading, Airway Bills, and related shipment and finance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable FEMA, RBI, customs, and DGFT requirements for international transactions.
• Coordinate Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, foreign remittances, and related banking documentation.
