The Mandate
Ethics Group of Companies is creating the position of Chief Marketing Officer.
This is a newly established role — the first group-level marketing mandate in the organisation's history.
We are a diversified Indian group operating across pharmaceutical supply chain, information technology, aviation, logistics, financial technology, cooperative commerce and travel management. Our businesses serve central and state government institutions, public sector undertakings, port and airport authorities, and enterprise clients. We have grown by winning complex mandates and delivering on them — and we have grown faster than our brand has.
That is the problem this role exists to solve.

What you will own
You will build the Group's marketing function from the ground up, and specifically:
(1) Brand architecture. Seven operating verticals currently go to market with inconsistent identity. You will decide — and then justify to the Board — whether Ethics is a branded house, a house of brands, or something in between, and execute that decision across every touchpoint.

Brand recall as a measurable outcome. Recall among our institutional buyers, partners and prospective talent is below where our delivery record warrants. You will define the baseline, set the targets, and own the number.
(3) Institutional and government-facing communication. Marketing here is credibility engineering: capability documentation, thought leadership, sector positioning and reference-building — not campaign spend.
(5) Digital and content presence. Group and subsidiary web properties, LinkedIn, sector publications, and the content engine behind them.
(6) Talent brand. As we scale into recent sectors, our ability to attract senior professionals depends directly on how the Group is perceived. You will own that perception.
(7) The function itself. Structure, headcount, agency roster, budget and governance. You are building the team, not inheriting one.
