Role Description The Online Scratch Mentor US Shift Timing (2:30AM-6:30AM) is a part-time remote role responsible for teaching Scratch programming to students aged 5 to 17 through live online sessions. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans aligned with Codeyoung’s curriculum, delivering interactive classes, guiding students through hands-on projects, and providing constructive feedback on their work. The mentor will monitor student progress, address doubts, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and levels.



Additional responsibilities may include maintaining class records, collaborating with the academic team to improve content, and communicating with parents or guardians when needed.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Scratch programming and foundational coding concepts, with the ability to explain them in a simple, engaging manner.
• Experience teaching or mentoring children or teenagers in a classroom, online, or informal learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, including clear verbal explanation and qualified written communication.
• Ability to create interactive, student-centered lessons and encourage creativity, problem-solving, and project-based learning.
• Comfort with using online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital classroom resources.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage diverse groups of young learners in a positive and inclusive
