Role Summary

The UI/UX Architect is the single accountable owner of enterprise UI/UX architecture across all products. This person defines the design system, reusable foundation layer, and UX governance model that every product team builds on — enabling consistent, scalable, and intuitive experiences across ERP, POS, OMS, WMS, Reporting, and future modules.

This is a matrix leadership role. The UI/UX Architect does not own product-specific design decisions or engineering implementation — those stay with Product Managers and Engineering respectively. Instead, this role sets the standards, patterns, and governance those decisions must work within, and partners closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to apply them.

This is a hands-on architecture and design leadership role. The person doesn't just define standards on paper — they build reusable component libraries, foundation screens, and research-backed patterns that product teams consume directly.

What This Role Owns

• Enterprise UI/UX architecture: the long-term design architecture strategy across all products.
• Enterprise Design System: tokens, typography, color, spacing, grid, components, patterns, accessibility, and responsive standards — owned and evolved centrally.
• UI Foundation Layer: reusable screens and patterns (auth, navigation, dashboards, tables, forms, filters, notifications, empty / loading / error states) that every product consumes.
• UX Governance: the design review process, quality gates, accessibility compliance, and pattern library governance.
• UX Research practice: the methods and cadence for user research, journey mapping
