About the Role
We are looking for a driven Business Development Executive to grow our residential rooftop solar and home battery sales across Bengaluru. You will own the sales cycle end to end, from lead follow-up and site visits to proposals and closing, and help customers make the switch to clean energy with confidence.
Responsibilities
• Generate and convert leads for residential rooftop solar and battery (BESS) systems through referrals, channel partners, RWAs/apartment associations and field activity
• Follow up on inbound and telecalling leads, schedule site visits, and assess customer requirements
• Prepare and present quotations and system proposals, and explain savings,
payback and the PM Surya Ghar subsidy process
• Negotiate and close deals, and coordinate handover to the project and installation team
• Maintain an accurate pipeline in our CRM and meet monthly sales targets
• Build relationships with RWAs, builders, electricians and local partners to create a steady referral network
• Share market and competitor feedback to improve our offerings
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Engineering/BBA/MBA preferred)
• 1–3 years of B2C or sales experience; rooftop solar, electrical, real estate or home-improvement sales is a strong plus
• Understanding of on-grid/hybrid solar, net metering and PM Surya Ghar is an advantage (we will train the right candidate)
• Excellent communication in English and Kannada; Hindi is a plus
• Robust negotiation and follow-up skills, with comfort using a CRM
