• Business partner for Regulatory Affairs (RA):
• Finance business partner for entire RA function (~700 FTEs, ~$80m cost center across multiple locations)
• Proactively manage all reporting, monitoring and planning cycles for the RA function
• Part of GRA LT team, expected to drive results, ensure RA LT objectives are delivered within budget, guide LT on finance related topics and work closely with P&O;·
• Part of the RA Staffing Committee
• Drive transformation in RA
• D&R; monitoring:
• Monitoring local D&R; budget with quarterly update and insight into MYF and TGT, review
• Market bottom-up submission and discuss with Regions the potential challenges / changes to be implemented in submission
• Ensure disciplined and accurate reporting by markets based on correct P&L; line (RA, Medical, Clinical, etc)
• D&R; line consolidation, drive saving initiatives and course correction or mitigating actions when deviating from agreed targets
• Projects:
• Independently drive projects (strategic as well as operational projects)
• Implement cost center tracking and forecasting in the GDSO network
• Develop ROIC model, monitor impact and provide strategy initiatives to improve ROIC
• Improve and automate development project tracking tools to improve project delivery and forecasting accuracy
